DIRECTIONS

Servings: 40  

1. Mix flour, ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg and baking soda together.  Set aside.

2. Beat margarine and brown sugar in mixer on medium speed until light and fluffy.

3. Add eggs and mix until well blended.

4. Add ˝ of the flour mixture and mix until combined.  Add the molasses and mix until combined.  Last, add the remaining ˝ of the flour mixture and mix until combined.  Refrigerate dough for 1 hour or until firm.

5. Heat oven to 350°.

6. Roll dough to 1/4” thickness on a well floured surface.  Cut out shapes.  Place on cookie sheets.

7. Bake for 8 minutes or until edges are lightly browned. Transfer to wire rakes to cool.

8. Once cooled decorate with colored icing.
