1. Cut cake into 1 inch cubes.

2. Thread strawberries, pineapple and cake onto skewers.

3. Place skewers on a baking sheet lined with wax paper.

4. Put 1/2 cup chocolate chips and shortening in a microwave safe bowl.

5. Microwave on 70% power about 1 minute. Remove from microwave and stir with spoon.

6. Return to microwave and cook at 70%power for 20 seconds, stop stir and continue cooking for 20 seconds until melted.

7. Drizzle cake and fruit with chocolate.

8. Refrigerate for 10-15 minutes, until chocolate is no longer sticky.
